For our European Headquarter located in Neuss (close to Düsseldorf) we are currently looking for a new colleague to support our European SCM Center as

 

Sales Assistant (m/f/d) Customer Service

Main responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing of customer orders and transfer them to the warehouse in timely manner
  • Secure the information flow towards our customers with regard to shipment schedules, allocations and availability of goods
  • Make sure that all customer inquiries are quickly answered and/or transferred to the responsible person/department
  • Coordinate order releases with the finance department
  • Coordination of shipments in close cooperation with the Logistic Group
  • Generals correspondence with customers (English language)
  • Issue shipping advice to customers
  • Check customer claims – damages & physical differences
  • Organise intercompany returns
  • Handle price differences (issue credit/debit notes)
  • Review open order list with customers
  • Process direct shipments from European and overseas suppliers

 

Your requirements:

  • Commercial/business qualification, import/export experience is an asset
  • Good spoken and written English (mandatory), German and additional European language skills an asset
  • ERP System (preferably Oracle) and computer knowledge (MS Office, especially Excel)
  • Good communicator & excellent team worker
